Dependent Dropdown control

This has been a question I have received many times. Why didn’t the wss team release a Dependent Dropdown control that has a Parent/Child relationship?

Yah…, good question.

Thanks to one of my Data Cogs colleagues Mark Daunt I can offer a solution….a .wsp solution that is.

    i have tried using the datacogs sharepoint parent/child dependent dropdown list control, but have noticed that there can be issues when trying to modify the column settings if the there are chagnes to the either the (parent or child) referenced list or the url. Have you come across this?..
